FAQ
Questions shops ask.
Short answers, in the order you will meet them. New here? Start with how it works.
Accounts
- Who can register?
- Any business in Ghana that sells or uses INGCO and WADFOW tools: wholesalers, retail shops and contractors. New shops are welcome too — try a few pieces first before committing to cartons. This is a trade portal, not a consumer store: there is no public checkout and no card payment, and every order belongs to a registered, approved trade account.
- What do I need to register?
- Four things: the WhatsApp number you use, your shop or business name, the region and the town. That is the whole form. Afterwards, from your account, you can add the owner’s name, the area or landmark, the type of business, your digital address (Ghana Post GPS), a map pin, a second contact number, an email, your TIN or business registration number, and a photo of the shopfront — none of them required, but the photo helps approval enormously, because we can see it is a real shop.
- How does approval work?
- A new account starts as PENDING. Devcore reviews the details you gave — the shop photo, the location, the phone number — within 24 hours. We confirm on WhatsApp, on the number you registered with, and the message carries your sign-in link. If we cannot approve an account, we tell you on WhatsApp and say why.
- Can I browse before I’m approved?
- Yes. The full range is open to everyone: names, images, specs, item codes, pack and carton quantities. You can even start an order sheet — it is saved on this device and moves into your account when you register, so you never rebuild it. Only submitting an order needs an approved account.
- How do I sign in?
- With your WhatsApp number. We send a 6-digit code to it on WhatsApp; enter the code and you are in. There is no password to remember, and you stay signed in on that device.
Quotes
- Why doesn’t the site show what items cost?
- In this first version the portal is for finding stock and placing order requests. What an order costs is confirmed per order: Devcore works it out and sends you the quote on WhatsApp. Showing it on the site is planned for a later update, and nothing about how you order will change when it arrives.
- How do I get a quote?
- Build your order sheet and submit the request. Devcore replies on WhatsApp with your quote and the payment and delivery details. Your order is confirmed once you agree the quote on WhatsApp.
Ordering
- Piece, pack, carton — what is the difference?
- A PC is one item. A PACK is the manufacturer’s inner pack, and a CTN is the full carton — every card shows both counts, like Pack: 6 · Carton: 24. Pick the unit on the card and set the quantity; the card always shows how many pieces that makes (3 CTN = 72 pcs), which removes the most common ordering mistake. Items that only come as single pieces show no unit toggle. An order of fewer than five pieces in total is fine — that is how a new shop tries a few pieces first.
- Is there a minimum order?
- No minimum. Order a single piece if that’s what you need.
- Do you deliver, or do I collect?
- Both — you choose. We deliver anywhere in Ghana, or you can collect the order yourself. Tell us which you prefer when we confirm your order on WhatsApp; the delivery or collection details come with your quote.
- Why are there WADFOW products on INGCO Ghana?
- Because we supply both. INGCO Ghana carries the INGCO and WADFOW ranges in one catalog, under the same categories — a WADFOW product here is not a mistake. Every card and product page shows the brand next to the item code, and the order sheet, your requests and the WhatsApp summary keep it, so the right item is packed. To see one brand only, use the INGCO / WADFOW filter in the catalog, or type the brand in the search bar (wadfow grinder).
- How do I find an item by its code?
- Type the code, or the start of it, into the search bar — INGCO and WADFOW codes both work. CIDLI lists every code that begins with it, and a full code puts that exact item first. Names work too — 20v drill. Every product page shows the code as a chip you can copy with one tap.
- Do I get a record of my order?
- Yes. The moment you submit, you get a confirmation sheet on screen — item code, name, unit, quantity — that you can print or screenshot, plus a WhatsApp message with the order number. Every order also stays in your account.
- What do the order statuses mean?
- DRAFT
- Your order sheet, not yet submitted. Only you can see it.
- SUBMITTED
- Your request is in. You have the confirmation sheet and a WhatsApp message.
- UNDER REVIEW
- Devcore is checking availability and putting your quote together.
- QUOTED
- We have sent your quote on WhatsApp and are waiting for you to agree.
- CONFIRMED
- You agreed. The order is going ahead.
- PACKING
- Your items are being packed.
- READY
- Packed and ready for collection or delivery.
- DELIVERED
- Done — the order has reached you.
- CANCELLED
- The order was stopped, by you or by Devcore. It stays in your history.
- Timeline
- Every change is time-stamped and shown on the order’s timeline in your account, so you can see where it is without asking.
- How do I reorder?
- Open any past order in your account and tap Reorder. All of its lines load back into your order sheet, ready to adjust and submit. Anything no longer in the range is skipped, and the page tells you what was skipped.
